Profile:
I am a student that is in the 11th grade attending Fashion Industries High school for fashion. I really enjoy designing. It is part of some of the things that I want to do in life. As a student at Fashion Industries you are required to do certain things according to your major and grade level yearly. I’m a fashion major. Here are some of the thing that I had to complete in order to continue.
Freshmen Year:
Freshmen year focused on drawing. Drawing the details of garment and people from the body to the face. This was the fist term. Second term was Computer Fashion, where we did the same thing but we learned how to do it by using the PC.
Sophomore Year:
Sophomore year was all sewing and the construction of a garment. We learned the different sewing techniques and putting a garment together.
Junior Year:
I am a junior now and we are taking pattern making were we learn how to make pattern that you can think of then draping witch is kind of the same thing but we use a dress form and make the patterns from scratch with out any sloppers.
